Hi, I’m Aaron

I'm a Full Stack Software Engineer based in Portland, OR. I've been bringing brands to life through code for over a decade, working across creative and technical disciplines to build engaging digital experiences.

I've applied my skills to migrate e-commerce and SasS platforms from legacy code into a modern stack, build and maintain major e-commerce platforms using React and Next.js, and create reusable component libraries that streamline development workflows. Most recently, I've been collaborating with design professionals to deliver creative and technical solutions for clients across multiple industries.

When I'm not engineering software solutions, I channel my creativity into motion design, woodworking, and building guitars. These experiences influence my approach to technical problem-solving.

Motion Design

I’m also a Motion Designer and Illustrator. I’ve had a lifelong love of animation. I appreciate dynamic, nuanced, explosive, hand-drawn, wiggly, warbly, warm, living, breathing movement and I seek inspiration in graphic design, illustration, and movements in nature. I’m currently having fun with rotoscoping.
